TI Retreat is catered to individuals who are actively involved in their communities. After careful review, the registration committee will notify applicants via email their acceptance status. If your application is declined, payment will be reimbursed. The specific location of the campsite will be shared upon acceptance.

*** Please Note: To be considered for attending TI Retreat, it is a mandatory requirement for all applicants to be able to attend the entire duration from Friday, August 30th 3:00pm to Monday, September 2nd 5:00pm, exceptions will NOT be allowed ***

What are the goals of TI Retreat?

• To further develop and support youth activists who have already committed themselves to serving the organization and community through various projects inside or outside of MAS

Please allow for at least 30-45min for this application. To best prepare, this application requires:

1) General Registration Information

2) 2 Leadership References (ie Usra/Halaqa/Community Leader)

3) a 250 word prompt (see below) 

In approximately 200 words, explain why you want to attend TI Retreat this year. What do you seek to gain and benefit from attending? And what do you plan to do with the knowledge and skills gained afterwards?

We evaluate and weigh your personal statement in answering these questions heavily, and can be a big factor in the decision process of accepting applicants or not. Please do your best and take it seriously, spend some good time thinking and writing your response.
